Membership Cancellation
Members may stop using the service or request profile closure according to the account and profile rules available within Uravukal Matrimony.
Closing or discontinuing use of a profile does not automatically create a right to a refund for a membership that has already been activated or used.
Uravukal memberships are not automatically renewed.
Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered when:
- the same membership payment was charged more than once
- payment was successfully captured but the purchased membership was not activated
- Uravukal Matrimony is unable to provide the purchased paid service because of a confirmed technical or operational failure and cannot reasonably correct the issue
- a refund is otherwise required by applicable law
Normally Non-Refundable Situations
Subject to applicable law, a refund will normally not be provided merely because:
- the member changed their mind after membership activation
- the member did not find a preferred match
- an interest was not accepted
- another member did not respond
- another member declined communication
- a matrimonial discussion did not proceed
- contact access was not available because platform privacy or approval requirements were not satisfied
- the member did not fully use the membership during its validity period
- the member provided incorrect information or violated platform rules
How to Request a Refund
Email uravukalofficials@gmail.com and include:
- registered mobile number
- Profile ID where applicable
- payment or order reference
- payment date
- reason for the request
Please do not send banking credentials, card details, OTPs or UPI PINs by email.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be initiated through the appropriate payment channel.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the member's account may depend on the payment provider, bank or payment method.
Duplicate or Failed Payments
If money is debited but the membership is not activated, contact support with the payment reference.
We will verify the transaction before determining whether the membership should be activated or the eligible amount refunded.
Cancellation of Service by Uravukal
Where an account is restricted or terminated for fraud, abuse, false information or material violation of platform terms, refund eligibility will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law.
