1. Acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of Uravukal Matrimony.
By registering for or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Nature of the Service
Uravukal Matrimony provides an online matrimonial platform that allows eligible members and families to create profiles, discover matrimonial prospects, express interest and use available communication or membership features.
Uravukal Matrimony is an introduction and technology platform. We do not:
- guarantee a match
- guarantee acceptance by another member
- guarantee engagement or marriage
- conduct legal marriage registration
- guarantee the accuracy of every statement made by another member
3. Member Responsibility
Members are responsible for:
- being legally eligible to marry under applicable law, or creating a profile only for a family member who is
- providing truthful and reasonably accurate information
- keeping information updated
- using the service only for genuine matrimonial purposes
- protecting login credentials
- behaving respectfully toward other members
- independently verifying information about prospective matches
- conducting appropriate personal and family due diligence before making matrimonial, financial or personal decisions
4. Prohibited Use
The service must not be used for:
- impersonation
- fraudulent profiles
- harassment
- threats or abuse
- solicitation unrelated to matrimonial purposes
- illegal activity
- unauthorized collection of member information
- scraping or automated extraction
- commercial resale of member information
- attempts to bypass privacy or access controls
Members can block other profiles and report profiles or conduct that appear to breach these Terms. We may restrict, suspend or close profiles where misuse or material policy violations are identified.
5. Profile Review and Verification
Uravukal Matrimony may use profile review, verification or moderation processes.
A verification indicator means only that the applicable verification process was completed. It is not a guarantee of:
- character
- compatibility
- financial condition
- marital suitability
- truth of every profile statement
- marriage outcome
6. Memberships
Some functionality may require a paid membership.
Available plans, prices and benefits are shown on the Membership Pricing page and/or at checkout. Paid memberships run for six months from activation and are not renewed automatically.
Purchasing a membership does not guarantee that another member will:
- accept an interest
- communicate
- disclose contact information
- proceed with a matrimonial discussion
- agree to marriage
Contact access remains subject to applicable platform rules.
7. Payments
Where payment functionality is enabled, payments are processed through supported payment providers.
The price and applicable plan should be reviewed before payment.
Members must provide accurate payment information and use payment methods they are authorized to use.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
Membership cancellation and refund requests are governed by the separately published Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.
10. Account Restriction or Closure
Profiles may be restricted, suspended or closed where reasonably necessary for:
- safety
- fraudulent activity
- policy violations
- legal requirements
- misuse of the platform
- verification concerns
Member-controlled profile closure remains subject to product rules and any protected review or hold requirements.
11. Third-Party Services
Certain functionality may depend on third-party providers such as payment gateways, SMS providers, hosting or infrastructure services.
Their availability may affect related functionality.
12. Limitation of Platform Role
Matrimonial decisions involve personal and family judgement.
Members should independently verify identity, background and other information important to their decision.
Uravukal Matrimony does not assume responsibility for private representations, commitments or actions between members outside the platform beyond responsibilities imposed by applicable law.
13. Changes
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the service or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this website.
